How to maintain and clean the hydraulic cargo lift
Hydraulic Cargo lifts are becoming an increasingly indispensable part of industrial production, especially in the fields of industry and logistics, where hydraulic cargo lifts play an important role. Hydraulic cargo lifts are widely used in the transportation of goods in warehouses, factories, docks, etc., due to their strong carrying capacity, good stability, and easy operation. However, like any mechanical equipment, the normal operation of hydraulic freight elevators is inseparable from regular maintenance and care. Next, let’s briefly talk about how to maintain and clean hydraulic cargo lifts.
I It is very important to test the cargo lifts before using them.
- Before actual operation, run the hoist without load througha few
- Check and ensure that the hydraulic pressure line andjoints has no leakages and that the electrical wirings are not damaged/exposed.
- Ensure that the center of gravity should be in the central place of work floor as far as possible.
II Before operation, read the instructions carefully and operate the elevator correctly according to the requirements.
- Prohibitoverloading.
- Hydraulicoil should be kept clean and must not be mixed with water and other im The hydraulic oil should be replaced 2 months later for the first time, and then every six months (3 months longer than fist replacement). Once the hydraulic oil turns darker and tacky, and contains grits or other foreign matters, it is time to replace the hydraulic oi. If common temperature between 0 °C to 40 °C, please use No. 32# Hydraulic Oil; If common temperature over 40 °C , please use No. 46# Hydraulic Oil. If common temperature is below 0 °C, please contact us for advice.
- When the platform fails to work, the power source should be promptly
- Sick equipment operation is prohibited. Non-professional person shall not remove, adjust thehydraulic valve block and electrical components.
- When used on the ground, itshould be guaranteed that there is enough space for platform fluctuation; inspect the power source line and the fuel tank pipeline to ensure there is no barrier around them and to avoid the line or the pipeline to breakin the process ofplatform
III Do routine maintenance
1.Examine and maintain the lift weekly or once a month according to the lift operating frequencies
(a) Check and ensure that the platform connection pin nuts are notloose
(b) Check and ensure that the hydraulic tubing has no rupture, and all fittings have no leakages or are loosen
(c) Check and ensure that the electrical lines are notdamaged/exposed
(d) Check and ensure that all joints at the main control panel are not loosen and the indicating lights are functioning
(e) Check and ensure that the limit switches are functioning
(f) Check and ensure that the lubrication state of strut and cylinder pins is good
(g) Ensure that the glide pathis lubricated, there should be no friction between the rollers and the glide path
(h) Check the safety railing is available. DO NOT take down the safety railings from the platform.
(i)Check the safety rope and levelling rope, make sure they not loose.
(j) Put grease to the wheel,chains,wire ropes,nylon blocks,every month
- Maintain the cleanliness ofthe lift pit. Do not have water collection or other impurities in the lift pit
- Maintaining the hydraulic system
In general, good maintenance and care of cargo lifts is a key step to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hydraulic cargo lifts. Only in this way can we maximize the use of these equipment, reduce operating costs and improve work efficiency.
